This weeks blog has been difficult to come up with. I've thought about it and the only thing I can come up with is to give some advice.
My advice is for my younger classmates and to tell them to never quit going to school. Stay in college and enjoy every minute. It might seem like a never ending battle but in the end it will be worth it. I quit going to college when I was younger and now I regret that decision. Now as a single parent it is so hard to juggle school, work, and raising a teenager. Also, its a little bit harder to remember things when you've been out of school for 14 years.
So please don't stop going to college and do everything you want to do in life.
I read this in a quote book of my daughters and thought it was something I should share.
" To dream anything that you want to dream-- that is the beauty of the human mind. To do anything you want to do--- that is the strength of the human will. To trust yourself to test your limits-- that is the courage to succeed." By Bernard Edmonds

Your advice is really something I needed to read. I really wasn't considering quitting school, but I have been very overwhelmed lately, and you helped me to realize I am doing this for a reason, and my life will be easier if I just get it out of the way now. Thank you so much for your words of wisdom!
Thanks for your advice. A lot of people need that encouragement to stay in school even when the going gets tough. I'm glad you are pursuing higher education and may God bless your experiences here and your future.
Thanks for the advice. My dad went back to college a few years ago, so I know what that's like on one level.
I like your advice--yes I think it is important to keep young students going to school!
